The Husqvarna 924HV will tackle up to 23-inch snow depths and cut 24-inch swaths with its sturdy two-stage auger/impellor system. Powered by 9-pound/foot gross torque SnowKing engine, the 924HV features a single motion lever control for the discharge chute. Single hand control allows operator to adjust chute controls while wheels and auger are engaged. A push button electric starter that works off a power outlet means you'll never have to worry about a dead battery. A powder-coated frame (for corrosion resistance), LED headlight, and 16-inch by 5-inch wheels round out this entry-level snow thrower. Options include a drifoot cutter and weight bar.

After receiving the pallet at my house it was not bad to assemble, started right up, ran with no problem. It includes an engine even rated for cold weather unlike some cheaper ones, has a light which is needed for this kind of work, and the controls are easy to work with. Appears to be a quality machine, at this point i get to the bad side, customer service is well lets say I feel dissapointed. Really just a lack of caring for the consumer.
I WAS ALSO MISSING THE CABLE BRACKET for the chute angle control, after reading the same story, I decided to just use a hose clamp to fasten the cable in place. It is sad to see a company with such a good looking product not really willing to help if there is an issue, their common response is take it to a dealer, only issue is it weighs over 200lbs making it a project to take it anywhere. I say it is a good product yes! You want support when there is an issue? Just make sure there is one in your area.

I am so angry! My Husqvarna 924HV arrived missing a part. It's a "Remote Cable Bracket" and it's pictured and mentioned on page 7 of the operator's manual. I've called Husqvarna twice now and they have no knowledge of this part, so they can't help me, at all. They tell me I should put the 265 lb machine in my car and drive it to a dealer or I should complain to Amazon. I am disgusted by Husqvarna's incompetence and complete lack of customer service.
Update: A Husqvarna customer service representative saw this review, contacted me, and mailed me the whole cable assembly. Ironically, I still needed to take it to a dealer as it was too complicated for me to assemble. I'm hoping the product itself will work well. I'll have to wait until it snows to find out.

This snow thrower is a monster. Gets through everything we've put it through. No problem cleaning up the end of the driveway after the road plows have gone by. We use this to do our entire road and then some. The electric start works well and the pull start is much easier then most chainsaws I have had to pull start. The controls take a little getting used to but once you are used to them they become like second nature
