By Gary G
I searched, like I always do before I buy something for a few weeks. I was very happy with the price of the Snapper SS922EX and the performance. I received it 2 days after I ordered it, thanks to Amazon and BrandNewEngines, Inc. It was very easy to put together, 1 hour taking my time. Comes with synthetic oil and even gas stabilizer. It started on the second pull the first time starting it, it pull's very easy I really don't think I will ever need the electric start but I am getting older so it might come in handy someday. I've used this 3 times so far (looks like tomorrow will be the 4th) and it works great plenty of power. The On-The-Go quick change chute direction handle works great easy to put the snow wear you want it with ease. It pulls itself easy while throwing snow with a little lift on the back handle. Most other single stage models I looked at even the top of the line Toro's didn't have lights. The lights work great, I work most of the daylight hours so when I was running out of sunlight doing my drive one night the lights where essential for getting the job done ( not like it was a job this thing is fun to use) . The Briggs & Stratton 900 Snow Series (205cc) has plenty of power and matched with this unit I believe will last me for many years to come with proper maintenance. Hopefully it will be the last snow thrower I buy.

By eROCK
I ordered this on a Tuesday, and it was delivered that Friday. Easy to put together. Added oil and gas, and it started right up. I've used it about 4 times so far in the past 2 weeks, and it works like a charm. This is their top of the line single stage blower, so it includes the electric starter, and remote handle to change the direction of the blower, and also a headlight. I haven't used the electric start yet, but the manual start works on the first try every time. The headlight actually works really well in the dark. Every time the engine starts, the headlight turns on by itself...there is no on/off switch for the headlight. The remote handle to change the direction that the snow is thrown is the best feature in my opinion. It saves you time and energy when you're going back and forth. They advertise that it throws the snow 35 feet...I'm not so sure about that, but it is at least 15 feet which is good enough. It handles the powder really well, and I've only had a little ice and slush so far, but it handled that well too. I think this was a great buy. There are 3 models of Snapper single stage (700 series, 800 series, and this 900 series). I bought this 900 series for the same price that others were selling the cheaper 700 series on Amazon. This has one of the largest engines for a single stage, but the muffler does a nice job of keeping the noise down. I would recommend this one.
